Invest In Peace

Greetings General Conference Delegates! As a longtime United Methodist currently at Christ United Methodist Church in Salt Lake City, Utah in the Rocky Mountain Conference for the past 18 years, I am asking you to please vote for selective divestment from companies that benefit from the Israeli occupation of Palestine. As was the case with ending South African apartheid, divestment will be a powerful nonviolent means to help end the ongoing injustice perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinians. Please do not fear the false accusations of anti-Semitism which are sure to follow, but take heart in knowing that Jewish Voice for Peace is actually facilitating me writing you today.
